Our Pharmacy Recognized for Excellence in Digital Health Adoption

We are proud to share that Terefe Pharmacy has been recognized for its outstanding performance by the Addis Ababa City Administration Food and Drug Authority for its use of the Teninete (ጤንነቴ) digital health platform.

Launched by the Ministry of Health Ethiopia in November 2025, Teninete is a comprehensive mobile health application designed to modernize healthcare access across the country. The platform connects users to medicine locators, trusted health information, and essential emergency services, including the Lebego ambulance dispatch system and the 952 toll-free hotline. Its goal is simple: make healthcare faster, more accessible, and more equitable for all Ethiopians.

Within this national system, Terefe Pharmacy achieved the second-highest utilization record across the entire country. This recognition reflects not only strong performance, but a clear commitment to adopting digital solutions that improve how patients access medicines and services.

At Addis Health, we see digital health as a practical tool to solve real problems.
